Sadly, we have to rehome our Scottish Straight, Lily.
Lily is 2 years old, spayed, and has had all her shots. She is as sweet as can be but……
From the onset, Lily was peeing randomly in small amounts on the carpet. It’s not an every day thing. We just find random pee spots on the carpet.
When she went into heat, it set Milo, our 8 year old neutered male, off. He started and continues to spray in our house as well. Lily doesn’t have a problem with Milo. It is Milo that has an issue with her. By the way, Milo was neutered when he was 6 months old.
We later found out the previous owner had mislead us about Lily. She had had the same indiscriminate urination problem with Lily before we got her.
Despite having her spayed, the problem of indiscriminate urination continues for both Lily and Milo. Also, Lily has started attacking Nalan, our 16 year old neutered male cat. She gets along with our Siamese kittens.
We have tried everything we can think of to rectify the urination problem to no avail. We consulted a Veterinarian, put Lily on medication, etc.
We really believe Lily should be adopted by someone with a quiet home and no other cats.
